I am currently a senior marketing major at James Madison University. During my early years of life, I moved around quite a bit. From living in Alexandria and Washington D.C. for a few years, to another few years in Fairfax. But my true hometown and where I have lived basically my whole life is Sterling, Virginia!

My parents are both from the Philippines and met eachother in the United States where they both moved to find a better life. I am very proud of my Filipino heritage which is why I am involved with the cultural organization at JMU called Filipino Americans at Madison(FAM).

During my free time I enjoy working out, playing/watching basketball, hanging out with friends, gaming, and watching television. Basketball has always been my favorite sport, and my passion for it goes beyond just playing or watching—I’ve also had the opportunity to coach in my local house league. The strategy, teamwork, and energy involved in basketball naturally drew me to marketing, where I could channel that same competitive spirit and creativity. That’s why I chose marketing as my major, with the ultimate dream of being part of a marketing team for an NBA organization or even working directly with the NBA itself.
