My Portfolio
COB 300 Business Plan
The heart of James Madison University's B.B.A. programs is a 12-credit-hour core course that integrates finance, management, marketing and operations known as COB 300, taken immediately following formal acceptance into the College of Business. During the semester, students are placed in cross-disciplinary teams and are tasked with integrating material from the four classes and developing a viable business plan.
The product my team came up with is "FirstShot-LastShot". FirstShot-LastShot is a two-part hangover prevention product designed to make mornings as refreshing as the night before. It comes with two 2 oz. drinks: the first shot, taken before consuming alcohol, contains Hovenia Dulcis, a natural ingredient proven to prevent hangovers, while the second shot, taken the next morning, delivers a full daily dose of B-Vitamins to help replenish and recover. Flavored with natural acai berry extract, it combines effectiveness with great taste, offering a convenient solution for recreational drinkers looking to enjoy their night without worrying about the morning after.
IMC Plan
In the Spring 2024 semester, I took an integrated marketing communications class. This class includes advertising, dales promotions, packaging, public relations, publicity, personal selling, direct marketing, and event sponsorship. Students will be involved in creating, planning, implementing and evaluating client-oriented projects by developing an integrated marketing communication campaign. That semester we made our plan for Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc(REFI). The main goal of the plan was to increase their revenue by $42,000 from July 2024 to June 2025 with a marketing budget of $20,000.
